Psalms 38:4-5
For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me. 5. My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.

☦️🌟 Let us fight against selfishness with prayer. Let us pray “Lord, Jesus Christ, have mercy on me” as much as possible, even at night. A body without a soul decomposes, begins to emit a stench, and becomes a source of infection. The same happens to the soul when there is no prayer in it. Let us always keep before our mental gaze the task - how to destroy this beast living inside us, our egoism...
