How Christmas was spent by ancient Christians in ancient Christian lands. Muhammadan Jihadist intimidation.

🇸🇾 🇸🇾 - In the middle of a news report showing the "normalcy" of "Christmas celebrations" in Bab Toma/Gate of Thomas (the neighborhood the Apostles resided in), men from the crowd (clearly foreign to the neighborhood) scream "Our master Muhammad, our leader forever!"

These people claim to believe in Jesus Christ and that He will descend to the Umayyad mosque (formerly St. John the Baptist church) at the second coming. Yet they proclaim the supremacy of another man on the day of Christ's Nativity. Do they really believe in Jesus?

From the ancient city of Damascus, along the Straight Street where Saint Paul once walked, Syrian protesters continue to stand against the foreign fighters affiliated with HTS. They are demanding their expulsion from Christian towns. Chanting:
‘We are your men, Jesus Christ. We are your men, Jesus Christ. With my blood and soul, I sacrifice for my cross."

5th Video (Bottom right)
Syrians, despite the deadly threat posed by the armed militants who have seized the country, are taking to the streets of Damascus, demonstrating to defend their faith chanting "raise the Cross higher."

“We remain beside our people because this is our pastoral mission. We must support them in every kind of need, especially spiritual. We will continue even our prayers and services in our churches as much as we can, of course, to leave our trials in God’s hands. We will continue the path to the Cross like Christ until the Resurrection.”...

Romans 4:3-4
For what says the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness. 4. Now to him that works is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

Syria declares Christmas holidays amid protests over oppression of Christians

Authorities in Syria have declared December 25 and 26 official holidays for state employees to coincide with Catholic Christmas celebrations. But essential government services will continue.

The decision follows peaceful protests in Damascus and nearby Christian neighborhoods over the oppression of Christians in Syria. The protests were sparked by the burning of a Christmas tree in Suqaylabiyah, a Christian-majority town in Hama, by foreign mercenaries.

Local authorities have arrested the perpetrators and promised to punish them.

Romans 4:5
But to him that works not, but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
“Troubles are usually the brooms and shovels that smooth the road to a good man's fortune; and many a man curses the rain that falls upon his head, and knows not that it brings abundance to drive away hunger.” + St Basil the Great, Archbishop of Caesarea (Jan 14/Jan 1)
