Let's talk more about #SRM and #ETH trades as it has good lessons.

We started these two trades when BTC was above 63K, and suddenly Bitcoin dumped $ 3,000. We even went up to 80% loss in each. But we reduced the stop loss twice and used the Martingale strategy. And finally, with 77% profit in total, we exited from these trades

But why did we do that? Because we were sure of something.

1- Bitcoin dominance was falling and this caused Alts to survive, otherwise it would have caused a lot of losses in the first moments.

2- We knew that the main reason for this dump was the high funding rates, and when it cools off the market returns, you saw that as soon as this happened, it did.

3- We were entirely sure of the support for these coins.

So sometimes, do not be afraid even if you saw 80% loss in front of your trade because of an unexpected event (if you have analyzed it properly), try to check the situation and choose the best strategy to reduce this loss.

Remember, when the market is not going according to your wishes and analysis, do not act emotionally and focus on getting out of the trade with the least possible loss.

Loss is a part of trading, but it must be managed

POTENTIAL HEAD AND SHOULDERS IN PLAY


If we see a rejection here then we could be on for a pretty aggressive head and shoulders down to the $55k region if it gathers enough momentum. Although even if it did we feel it would only be short lived and alot of whales are ready to buy this dip.

Breaking above the $63k resistance and holding we feel will see a very strong push up and rebreaking the ATH and likely $70k.

Unfortunately we feel we are going to see a little more downside in the short-term first before the next big monster push up.

We feel the proper alt season is still on ice for a little longer.
